Hello! My name is RJ Mayon, and I’m a video editor based in the Greater Houston area. I’m passionate about creating videos because they allow people to tell their stories in a powerful, visual way. During the editing process, I focus on the small details—from precise timing to sound design and everything in between—because those elements are what truly bring a video together, no matter the style or format.
My journey into video editing began in high school when I joined the school news team as a sophomore. Since then, I’ve continued to develop my skills and grow my passion for storytelling through video, using creativity to bring ideas to life.
I am currently finishing my Associate’s Degree in Video Production at Lone Star College and plan to transfer to the University of Houston to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree.
